“RR House” is a unique project that celebrates the diverse traditions of the state of Yucatan. During the holiday periods in Merida, an extraordinary phenomenon occurs: the migration to the coast in search of rest and recreation under the warm sun. In this context, the houses become family gathering centers, offering ideal spaces for a variety of activities.

In addition to our privileged location on the Dzemul coast, near Telchac Puerto, we highlight the ideal orientation of the land from North to South, which maximizes sea views and allows you to enjoy the refreshing breeze coming from the northwest. The design adapts to a 20.00m by 40.00m plot, ensuring panoramic sea views from all angles.

Responding to the client’s request to create a spacious, green and welcoming space for the whole family and guests, we opted for an “I”-shaped layout. This layout not only optimizes the use of land and natural ventilation, but also intensifies the feeling of spaciousness in each space.

Inside, we have incorporated a double height that connects all the environments, providing flexibility and changing the perception of the project throughout the day with the entry of natural light. Meanwhile, on the terrace, we have reduced the height to offer users a stunning panoramic view of the coast.

To satisfy the client's interest in art, we have designed multiple points and walls specifically dedicated to the display of artistic works. This integration not only enhances the works, but also allows the family to personalize their home according to their tastes and preferences, thus creating a unique and expressive space.
